Adrian’s work spans from master planning to civic projects, always with a focus on creating spaces that serve people well and are thoughtfully executed. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest after being born in Hong Kong and earning a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon has shaped his perspective on the value of space and the importance of utilizing resources thoughtfully.
He believes good architecture starts with understanding the user and translating their needs into clear, purposeful design. Adrian enjoys turning complex challenges into logical solutions and often uses data visualization and innovative workflows to bring clarity to the process. Mentoring staff and fostering collaboration within the team is an important part of his role.
When he’s not at his desk, you will likely find Adrian exploring the Pacific Northwest with his partner and their twins, traveling abroad in search of unique culinary experiences, and spending time with their four rescue / foster-failed dogs (shitzhu, husky, greyhound, plotthound/whippet mutt).
