Caitlin Short

Architectural Designer

As a native of Western Washington, Caitlin’s path to architecture was shaped early on by family roots. Growing up around her carpenter father and grandfather as they designed, built, and renovated the homes around her, she developed a lifelong appreciation for how buildings come together. After an interest to study environmental engineering at the Colorado School of Mines, Caitlin earned her Associate’s degree in Architectural Technology and transferred to Washington State University. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Architecture, and Master of Architecture.

Outside the studio, Caitlin is a proud cat mom who loves keeping up with soccer and spending time on two wheels. An avid cyclist, she is currently getting back into long-distance riding with her sights set on completing the famous Seattle to Portland (STP) bike ride for the third time, alongside tackling several new cycling routes across the region.
